Our Marrakech to Fes 4 days desert tour start from Marrakech at 8am to travel over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant we will have the afternoon to visit UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. We will depart to Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation in a traditional hotel.
Depart in the morning,we leave ouarzaazte towards dades and Todgha Gorges, one of the most beautiful and impressive canyons in Morocco. This is what make them a serious place for half and full day trekking trips and interesting canyons for serious climbers. From Todgha gorges we head towards Merzouga through arid landscapes and along many oases of palm grooves. We pass Erfoud or what we call the capital of fossils as it's very known with it's fossil's factories where they make beautiful shapes and pieces from rock of mountains. Then we'll head for the Erg Chebbi sand sea. We continue deeper into the desert landscape, until dunes appear in the middle of nowhere, we will spend the night in a hotel near the sand dunes.
We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the amazing changing contrasts of the of the desert. We will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians before having a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. After lunch you can visit the traditional markets and/or drink coffee at one of the many cafes while watching the day to day life of the city.
After an early sunrise ,we ride the camels backing to Merzouga, after take shower and the breakfest we'll start our tour to Fes, trough the middle atlas mountains, visiting ziz Valley..Medilt..Azrou..and cedar forest. We will arrive to Fes in evening.)
